I wanted to mount the jacks for the headsets up and out of the way so the cords could run down the side of the airplane and not be uncomfortable. I decided to make two brackets and mount them to the bottom of the panel and have them extend under the fresh air ducts. They will be painted flat black with a clear coat for protection. The third hole on the pilots side is for the parking brake knob. I used two #6 nut plates on each bracket to mount to panel. Rounded the corners so no knee cuts and counter sunk the screws that hold the bracket to the panel.
